1. Scope
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to the implementation of events such as online and offline seminars, events, lectures or digital products by Benedikt Zeitner – hereinafter also referred to as the “we” and “us” – at the respective event locations.
1.2 Any additional terms and conditions of the contractual partner shall only become part of the contract if the organizer expressly agrees to them in writing.
1.3 The contract ends automatically at the end of the respective event.
2. Admission requirements
There are no admission requirements.
3. Registration
3.1 A registration is binding when it has been confirmed in written form or by eMail.
3.2 There is no right of participation at events with limited spots. Registrations will be processed in order of their receipt. We reserve the right to deny participation to anybody without giving reasons.
3.3 Registration is to be done through the website or via eMail.
3.4 Events like speeches don’t need registration.
4. Payment agreements / Discounts
4.1 The payment fee for an event or the price for a digital product is due in full at the moment of registration. Payment is done through Paypal or other financial services.
4.2 The participant can only offset claims that have been legally established or are undisputed by the organizer. The participant is only authorized to exercise a right of retention if his claim is based on the same contractual relationship.
4.3 In the event of default we are entitled to charge a processing fee of 10€ per reminder. With regard to the processing fee, the participant is at liberty to prove that no damage was incurred or that the damage was significantly lower than the flat-rate claim for damages by the organizer.
4.4 Cash payment on site requires the express consent of us.
4.5 A discount must be requested in writing at least 3 days before the event date with the relevant evidence that entitles you to participate at the discount price. No discount is negotiable during the event.
5. Installment Payment
5.1 In individual cases, payment in installments can be agreed. This requires the written form and the approval of the organizer.
5.2 The installment payment agreement must be submitted to both parties in writing at least 3 working days before the event date.
6. Cancellation / Cancellation fees
6.1 The contract ends automatically with the end of the respective event.
6.2 Cancellation from participation in an event must be in writing.
6.3 If participation is cancelled more than 14 days before the date of the event, a cancellation fee of 10% of the participation fee will be charged.
6.4 If the cancellation from participation takes place less than 14 days before the event or if the participant does not participate in the event without a written withdrawal, a cancellation fee in the amount of the participation price is due.
6.5 All cancellation deadlines and conditions apply, unless otherwise stated in the event announcement.
7. Execution
7.1 The seminar or course event is carried out in accordance with the published program content and the applicable statutory provisions. Changes of the content may appear at any time.
7.2 The organizer reserves the right to change the location of the event within a radius of 10 km.
7.3 In the case of in-house events, the operator is responsible for providing suitable rooms.
8. Obligations of the Participant
8.1 The participant undertakes to observe the house rules applicable at the event location, to follow the instructions of the organizer as well as the representatives of the organizer and his vicarious agents, if this is necessary for the course of the event, and to refrain from anything that could prevent the proper implementation of the event.
8.2 The participant undertakes to properly provide all data that is marked as necessary for registration.
9. Copyright
9.1 The documents handed out to the participant, the presentation content used and the materials used are protected by copyright. Duplication, transmission or other use of the materials handed out – even in part – is only permitted with the explicit written consent of the organizer.
9.2 Image and video recordings are prohibited, violations will be prosecuted under civil law.
10. Cancellation by us
10.1 We reserve the right to cancel announced or started events due to insufficient number of participants, illness or other disruptions in business operations for which we are not responsible.
10.2 Participation fees already paid will be reimbursed in full in the event of cancellation from our side. If the event has already started and is canceled, the participation fees will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis.
10.3 Travel and accommodation costs of the participants will not be reimbursed by us. We recommend to take out a seminar cancellation insurance and travel cancellation insurance.
11. Place of fulfillment / place of jurisdiction
11.1 The place of fulfillment is the event location notified to the participant in writing.
11.2 The place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from the booking against merchants and legal entities under public law or special funds under public law is Berlin.
12. Data Protection
12.1 With regard to the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act, we would like to point out that your personal data is stored and used to fulfill the contract.
12.2 Your contact details will be used by the organizer for information purposes in such a way as to send you seminar information and event information from the organizer.
12.3 You can object to the use and processing of your data for information purposes at any time by notifying Benedikt Zeitner, Swinemünder Str. 11, 10435 Berlin, or revoke your consent. After receiving your objection or revocation, the organizer will no longer use and process the data concerned for information purposes, or immediately stop sending advertising material.
